Jackson-Cohen was born in London, the son of David Cohen and British fashion designer Betty Jackson. Jackson-Cohen studied at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in London and at the Youngblood Theatre Company at weekends. His first break in television arose at the age of 14 he acted a minor role in Hollyoaks, and later appeared in the ITV series The Time of Your Life in 2007.[1] In 2008 he played Phillip White in the *** adaptation of Lark Rise to Candleford.[1]Jackson-Cohen is now filming another *** series, Bonekickers. He has also secured a place at New York's Lee Strasberg acting school.Jackson-Cohen plays Damon in the 2010 film Going the Distance starring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long.[2]He starred in the film Faster (2010 film) opposite Dwayne Johnson.
