She made her directorial debut with the film The Color of Courage (1998) starring Linda Hamilton and Lynn Whitfield.[1]Her other television film credits include The Truth About Jane (2000), A Girl Thing (2001), What Girls Learn (2001), An Unexpected Love (2003),[2] Jack (2004)[1] and A Taste of Romance (2012).In 2004, Rose began directing episodic television, her credits include Soul Food, Weeds, Related, Cashmere Mafia, Lincoln Heights, Lost Girl, Greek, ****: The Series, The Glades, In Plain Sight, Haven, Under the Dome and True Blood.[3] she has gone on to do many shows including Grace and Frankie, Code Black and the new Star Trek Discovery. She has just had her script True North, that she will Executive Produce as well, optioned and will return to Star Trek Discovery season 2.
